Metal polisher

   Hey guys i got a chrome cover that goes over the part that has 16v, someone in my house has put a big scratch across it. What could i use to buff it out? Cheers.

   i know autosol cleans but i dont know if it would get a scratch out? worth a try if you know someone that has any

   Just a thought but depending on how deep the scratch is you might be able to use a fine grade wet/dry paper.Then buff up with the autosol.

   3m roloc blue scotch pad for your drill and a cutting compound such as g3 then once you got the scratch out use some brasso or autosol. Be careful though chrome is only thin and you will go through to the copper under it with very little effort.
