i got a 1.1 east coast that doesnt wanna start unless i pull the accelerator pedal up. but today i was on a hill waiting for a car to pass, i put some gas on as it was a hill start and it lost power went "pop" then i had to revit up to get it back before it stalled. anyone know why it would try to stall and pop on a hill. is it coil or icv as i need to look at both anyways
1.1 pop from engine on hill start

#2the ICV is the cause of having to pull the pedal up, my old easty used to do exactly the same. as for the pop, mine would pop when i tried bumpstarting it, guess its fuel thats been dumped in and hasn't ignited until its hit the exhaust due to the engine stalling?? dont quote me on that though lol
