Magnex Exhuast Sound Rating

   Hi All
   
   I'm looking to get a magnex cat back system. I've heard these aren't as loud as other exhausts as I don't want too loud.
   
   On a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being the sound from a standard exhuast and 10 being the loudest exhaust money can buy. Where would a magnex sit?

   3 or 4 would be my guess, not particularly loud but a nice subtle deep tone

   as danny says the magnex has a nice burble but isn't overpowering on long motorway journeys etc. imo it's perfect for the saxo

   i would say about a 5 as i have one!!

   3 - magnex are dam quiet, almost same as standard but with a small purr
   
   dissapointing if you like to hear your exhaust, great if you want looks without the noise.

   if you de-cat your car they sounds really nice, but far from loud!

   they sound much better de catted mate! i love the sound of mine its not over the top trying to sound like a scooby etc, it alsos one of the best you can get at power gains

    If you put your foot to the floor you'll get a nice burbling noise but its not chavvy,cant wait to get my De-Cat

    Mine's decatted and sounds lovely idling, accelerating, criusing, EVERYTHING!
    
    decatting it takes it from a 3/10 to a 5.5/10 for me.
    
    Best for the SAX!
