   Clio had 16 valves and vtr has 8 so i presume the clio?

   im goin to crail on sunday and just wonderin so i know what chance i have and what i should stay back from so i dont go gettin myself a redneck when i get whoped...so far i have a list of a clio 1.6 , a fiesta zetec s , and my pals vtr.

   Clio 16. 16v 01 reg onwards is: 110bhp, 0 -60 in 9.3secs top speed 120mph
   VTR - 90bhp, 0 -60 in 9.9 secs, tp 116mph
   zetec s - 101bph, 0-60 9.9secs, top speed 113
   Just lose as much weight as possible like spare wheel ect, u should do a zetec s tho, eps if its got aftermarket alloys cos it will add weight.

   a raced one of them at crail it was really wet and ma gear box was fucked
   the clio got a better start but a coiught it at the end it bet me by a second
   if a got a go at it now with ma new gear box and in the dry a recon a would rip it

   2 of us, me and shaggers and we did 0-60 in 8.5seconds....

    clio 16v (the newer shape) are wet as hell, same as the fiesta zetec s. i imagine the vtr would edge it .

    so what the clio is heavier, my mates got a 1.6 16v mk2 clio and its poo, your VTR will whoop it if your a decent driver, remember its all about the launch, 4000-4500rpm launch mate, and your laughing @ him!

    i would say the vtr would win! my mates got a clio 1.6 and its no faster than my vtr, if anything, i would say slighty slower!
    
    plus its boring to drive lol

    i think its just a normal crail day , ive not been up in ages and my old car that i went in wasnt the best car for whoring up a strip(1.0 12v corsa) lol.

    the vtr mrk2 will win mate with out doubt, ive raced clios and beat them everytime. only clio quicker is the 2 litre up wards but then that a different class of car
