What is this plug? (pic) p/s vtr footwell mk1. Also should all dash lights come on when alarm goes off?

   Comes right off the loom with the alarm box on it, cant see anything to connect it to
   
   Anyone any suggestions? having alarm problems and wondering is this to blame
   
   Also, when the alarm goes off, Should ALL the dash lights come on? as mine is doing this (alarm going off constantly when battery is connected) and think its abit odd!

   you been on speed whilst taking them pics? lol
   is this in the passenger side? i also have that but never found a problem from it
   
   edit: just read the rest haha. my alarm is kinda fine, over sensitive tho, goes off about 3 times a day. always been like this since i got it. never noticed anything with dash lights tho

   Haha wish i was, was dark in the shed so was trying to balance the torch on my knee, hold the phone to take the pic and hold the wire lol, not enough hands and shit phone = shit pics lol
   
   If there shouldnt be anything on it then that rules one more thing out!
