Rear bumper :/ Opinions?

Okay basically I got this rear bumper mega cheap on eBay and was going to spray it up and wanted to somehow merge it with the flat arch on the rear.
I thought it may look alright on the car but put it on today and I don't think it really suits it?
    Opinions though please.
It would be resprayed obviously if I decided to go ahead with it...
I'd also mesh the open part at the bottom and cut around the exhausts too...

Here's how the car looks currently...

Honest opinion from me is it look crap, for a start unless your vt kitting the rear 1/4 then it looks out of place.Plus the cut outs look crap, leave your car as it is,it look fine mate.

As Stevo said, it looks silly because it's designed for VT* rear arches.

Yeah I like my flat arch though that's the problem.
It's only a 1.1 and I don't intend to make it look like a VT.

What about if I extended the flat arch a bit then cut the bumper so it's flat to match up?
Then you wouldn't know, it would just look like it was supposed to be like that..

Think that bumper just ruins the car mate.

Your car looks wicked as it is Jdub, don't mod just for the sake of modding

Thanks for the tips guys the bumper is staying off the car.

Would probably work on a VTR/S but not on a flat arch model.

IF you spend some time on it you could make it sit nice and level with it imo.

Chop the corners off the flatarch bumper and put them on that new bumper.

    Think about it.

  13. #13
as people have said does`nt look very good
  14. #14
Imo yours is one of the only flat arch saxos I like the look of, glad to see you aren't using that bumper, it looks smart how it is.
  15. #15
Looks a lot better as it is I would defo leave it personally
  16. #16
    dont put it on please

Agree with the others - I think your car looks great as is - it devalues the car and make sit looks less "class" by adding that rear bumper (IMHO).

Big dirty gapping holes belong on sluts not bumpers! Then adding mesh just looks cheap and nasty in my view. Looks nice and different as is. Save the money ud spend spraying it for something else.

as above will look cheap and tacky with cut mesh around the exhausts and the holes are too big on the bumper, your car looks fine as it is

Could look amazing, if you have time and know how.

Smooth the boot and then move the number plate down but put a 106 number plate recess in, and smooth it into that bumper would look really good.
Only problem with that bumper, is the bumper strips on your car is all black you would have to colour code the whole car. To match

I think if you had the rest of the kit and fitted it all would look good as im a fan of body kits, but just having part of a kit is abit no no. Plus doesnt sit properly because its a flat arch
