Immobiliser problem

    Hi guys,

New here and, have a problem with my Saxo 1.4 immobiliser.

Had a problem with starting the car, replaced coil pack with no change.

I was then told to try disconnecting the battery, reconnect with the ignition on and all will be fine.

I tried this and, it worked BUT, every time I lock the car, I have to go through the remove battery procedure to get it to start again.

Does anyone know what I need to get to sort this problem out or, is it possible to bypass the immobiliser completely.

    Here's hoping.

    Pete

immobiliser usually located in passenger side glovebox underneath the tray or at the back; may differ for vts as im going off standard saxo's. Small black box

unlocked ecu can also bypass the immobiliser, but if you can get it running unplug it as said above, pointless shelling out for ecu if it will start at least some of the time
