engine problem

   hey my saxo vtr has suddenly lost power and will only go to 3-4000 rpm ? engine did come on but has gone off . also induction noise is a lot louder? please help! any ideas anyone?

   tbh mate, that sounds very similar to what happend to mine this morning, apart from i can rev higher. look at my thread/post see if that helps you.

   its in limp mode.. when your driving try flicking the key on and off so the car restarts... thats a quick fix that works on most cars but it isnt going to fix ur problem. I'd say some sort of sensor.
