how often do u guys need to change your link rods

    i was just wondering because i had new ones a few month back, ive already had one sent back under warrany after the ball joint popped out. now the other one is knockin like hell. they werent the cheap ones off ebay, think they cost around 30 35 quid.

    they should last ages, maybe try citroen see how much some genuine ones are

    i don't think genuine ones are much more than that. saying that though my car occasionally knocks on the driver side (i've replaced that arb link) with an FAI part. i wondering if thats almost fubar. may get a gen one if it's worth it and if the rubber boot doesn't crack as quickly (now an m.o.t failure)

    yea think i might have to. i got some off ebay for around 15 quid and they lasted about a year and half. even the rubber seals have split already on the one on now, and only been on 3 months. i took it to another garage and they thought they were second hand ones, they were new though.

    Usually everytime I have to remove them (grind the bastards) off.

    Never had one "need" replacing.
