406 brakes?

   been looking through the threads etc did any 406s come with the 266mm brake setup if so does these still fit the saxo or am i stuck with the likes of 306, 206, xsara, picasso and berlingo

   406's come with 283s
   
   still fit the saxo, just the discs might be a bit too big so use diff discs iirc?

   know my old 406 v6 estate had 283mm set up and the coupe v6 had brembos, think the 2 litre coupe had the same as the estate had. no idea what my current hdi has. what have you got against the other set ups?

   so i would have to move upto 15s to fit them? and nothing againest them but there are loads of 406s at scrapyard down road from me and wondered if they used the 266s if i had the money id go hispec or willwoods but until i get back under the water on the rigs i cant but sady until i get operation on my shoulder i cant as doctors wont let me dive

   266 are biggest you can run on 14s

   yeah thats fine i can live with having to move up a size on the wheels just theres nothing with the 266mm setup in at local scrappers

   possibly but im at scrapyard on sunday and its wheelbarrow day so i can proberly get about 5 or 6 sets for next to nothing giving me spares aswell plus i can get the other parts im after all for £50
