Air Filter Cleaner

    Got a BMC air filter on my car, however its been on there a few years and not been cleaned, more than likely starvin the engine or lovely air.

    Is this stuff ok for lubing it back up after i've cleaned it?

    Is it a cotton air filter in the BMC dude?

    If yes, it'll be fine but you need a detergent type fluid to remove the crap, and lets face it, there's going to be a serious amount of crap welded onto that filter.

    I don't really know what kind of filter it is tbh, took it out yesterday and doesn't look overly dirty....might.just wash it with water then use the above if it is a cotton filter.

    Hoover off the loose crap before,using the detergent.
