Car cut out this morning

   I was queuing in traffic this morning and the oil light flickered on and it cut out. Started fine after but it kept doing it untill I got on the motorway. The temp gauges were 3/4 of the way up,there was a bad flat spot when I was on the motorway. Any ideas at all??

   I know this has probably nothing to do with the cut outs, but did you check the oil?

   Yeah oil level is fine. It it does have a small leak judging by the little puddle in my car park space at work.

   Maybe it has leaked onto something it shouldn't have?
