Important! : So, my car failed to start, started, then missfired, then stalled, then was fine. help?

    as above really but ill say it again with more detail
    I started the car today it was about -7 overnight and about 1 at the time

    and when i first started the car it stalled,
    then i tried again, i had to hold revs or it would stall
    then i drove about 100 yards
    then it misfired
    then it stalled
    then i started it again. had huge misfire for 15 seconds
    then it was fine

    it has never done this before

    the cold would have something to do with it.

    what can i do to fix this problem?

    any help would be great

    Sounds like coilpack is failing mate.

    i thought that would be the answer my order was:
    coil pack
    ht leads
    battery

    I had exactly the same problem so changed the coil pack no joy,so changed the map sensor & it runs as sweet as a nut.

    If its anything like mine it will mate,& it`ll slowly get worse.
