VTR Ecu's

  1. #1
    Hey guys,

What year did the vtr go from 1 plug to 3 plug ecu?

    2000.....ish

Though I've seen X reg 3 plugs, and 51 plate single plugs.
So depends when it was registered.

Im stockpiling Ecu's at the minute.

Ideally I need someone local with a single plug ECU to come play swap the ecu.

If it runs in that persons car it means the ecu is unlocked.

or i need to buy a cheap phase 1 vtr aswell

Make sure you unplug the the imobliser box from the car your testing on.
Or your unlocked ecu will become locked.
