FEW THINGS WRONG CAN ANYONE HELP , idle, boot lid , sqweek noises

   Hi if anyone can help please do so
   
   1st prob when driving and about to stop I knock car out off gear , and it goes to about 1000 revs and then goes up to 1500 and back down like up down up down up down up down , like if I was jumping up and down , sometimes gets really bad and stalls , but I find Erving engine sorts it out , this happens every 1-5 times I stop
   
   
   2nd prob bloody boot rattles anyone know what part off boot could be and a easy fix , a mate said its the plastic bit ?????
   
   3rd prob. Sometimes when changing gear a sqweek comes from the pedals , I think clutch pedal when I'm just about off of it ???

   1.Clean the idle control valve.
   
   2.All saxo boots rattle,but try adjusting the metal plate on the car(where the boot closes)
   
   3.Could be the clutch release bearing.

   1,check the flow/air flow meter..near the throttle cable,take it out and give it a good clean out,should do the trick
   2,had the same problem with mine..turn out to the parcel shelf
   3...cant help you with that sorry Lol

   Air flow meter? Surely you mean the map sensor and cleaning it won`t do diddly squat lol?To the op search for the guide on cleaning the icv mate.

   1,Throttle petentiomiter ( i cant spell )
   
   2,Same as above all saxo boots rattle
   
   3,Once again i think you need to have a look at the clutch

    1. idle control valve , go to the guide on here
    
    2. the boot latch that in on the middle of the rear there should be 2 plastic bits on either side of the latch take them out and then put them in the oposit way to which they were before you took them out , it makes the boot harder to close you will get used to this and it holds the boot lid shut and wont let it rattle.
    
    3. my saxo does this but i dont really notice it unless the engine is off and i press the pedal , same with a few of my mates cars which range from 06 astra gsi , saxo vtr/vts , corsa sri , feista , focus st170 so its not just you mate unless its like really bad and makes a massive noise even when driving

    as said 1st is probably idle control valve, clean and\or replace. Would'nt worry too much about the screech wen letting clutch out unless its really bothering you.. Think yourself lucky you don't have mine it screeches like hell on cold startup only goes when you drop the clutch. I'm waitin till my clutch needs replacing to sort that out though lol.
