Alloys replacing rims

  1. #1
Hi everyone. I have a 1.1 Desire with the standard rims on, how easy is it to replace these with alloys? do I just need the alloy and the tyre and?

You might need longer bolts, flat seated if standard pug alloys.
Spigot rings if aftermarket maybe, with taopered seat long bolts. Depends on the wheels, try them and see?

You'll need new bolts unless you are going to the rallye steels I believe. Other than that its childs play

Old wheels off, new ones on can use the same nuts and put a wheel locking nut on them what i did and u need to make sure you get 3 stud wheels of 4 stud wheels depending on what your car has or they wont fit

    I haz 4 studs.

you will probably need new bolts other than that it depends what wheels you go for if you need spacers/spigot rings. I would recommend going for a direct fitment wheel if you can though

Well if I buy these alloys they come with the tyre and all fittings I believe.

if replacing with other saxo/peugeot wheels, you just need new bolts. Vtr or vts flat seat bolts
