Problem after problem after problem...

Alright, so I'm new to owning a Saxo and French cars in general, but I think I'm learning the hard way why cars from the other side of the channel aren't exactly highly regarded for reliability.
My car is going back to the garage for the third time tomorrow to try and solve a clunking noise. The noise occurs when stationary and when moving if you steer the car. It only comes from the drivers side front wheel area and a jolt can be felt through the steering wheel. It has had a new ball joint, which did solve some play in the steering, the suspension stripped and cleaned and greased and a new bearing for the top of the suspension mount but still no joy. I have also checked the lower wishbone bolts under the carpet but they are tight beyond belief. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, as I try to solve one problem new ones arrive! I added the following to my list today...
-creaking noise from brakes (seems to happen when coming to rest after slowing from 30+mph and sounds like a stiff spring, increases with increased pedal pressure)
-knocking noise when moving at road speed after pressing accelerator/lifting off (driveshafts have been replaced, not fitted properly? it is juddery and something feels 'loose')
-similar noise in simlar situation when pressing brake/lifting off
-noisy clutch/gear change (very clunky gear change and noise when pressing or lifting off clutch, also constant light rubbing noise when stationary and not in gear with clutch released... bearing?)
-squeaky noise inside (might be rubbing plastic... seat belt pivot points maybe? anyone else had this?)
Well done if you read this far let alone reply! I'm really starting to think I should have kept my 20 year old Micra!

i feel your pain mate, i had a wishbone needing replacement, i have a whistling from passenger wheel, drive shaft or wheel bearing related, also my brakes are squealing when turning right, thats either warped discs or a caliper piston not working as it should. And on top of that some little bell kicked my wing mirror off, which meant last saturday was wasted by driving to stafford shire to pick up a replacement mirror from a scrappy.
