Quick question. With picture!!

   Hi all my vts isnt running great at the moment so checked the sensors today and this is my temp sensor.
   
   
   
   looks to me like its broken because there are no golden metal bits inside the bottom hole? guess this isnt normal? just want someone to confirm please, thanks alot!

   There are only two wires coming out of the plug aren't there? use some deduction skills.
