    lets cut to the chase..
Off side wing mirror (U.K driver side) is missing.
I still have the passenger side and the int. rear view mirror.

    is this legal?

I believe they they have to have a mirror on the drivers side and one other however, i was allowed to drive without a drivers mirror after my car mine was kicked off

But as said, for the sake of a tenner for a replacement just get one

I'm fairly sure the law says you need a minimum of 2 mirrors, including your interior mirror. I know this because the police watched somebody kick mine off, and when I had to drive home afterwards, I checked it was legal with them

Mine is fixed But yeah, wouldn't want to be driving round without a mirror, especially if I crashed and it was deemed the cause of the accident. Big assfuckage then.

    Perfectly legal.

You have two mirrors, my old mans 406 passed many an MOT with only his interior and offside mirror.

You might as well replace it. They're pretty cheap (I got a replacement for just £20) and they're so simple to attach its really not that much hassle!

As for the legality, you must have a drivers side wing mirror by law.

driver side mirror is a must. interior and passenger side are either/or

cool, ive got a replacement on order which should hopefully arrive tomorrow.
now i doubt that many of you know (NOT THAT YOU SHOULD) what the "metal bracket looking part" is.. basically i reversed and took it off, so it was forced backwards and has snapped at a "hinge" which i guess is what it would hinge on when folded inwards.

if anyone does know what its called and whether its possible to get hold of it reasonably easy could you let me know.

i'm hoping that if my replacement doesnt come with this "metal bracket part" then i might be able to get it through my local GSF dealer.
failing that i will take a trip to the scrappy.

    cheers
