Dip Stick Snapped In Engine!

    Small problem.

    When checking my oil level yesterday, the Orange part of the dip stick, the end bit, snapped inside the pipe and is now lost inside!

    What should I do?

    Im hoping it is in the sump and will not effect the engine.

    Anyone else this happened to?

    many many people have suffered from their ends dropping off into lubricant, its very common amongst Saxo owners and will never cause a problem. You just need a new dipstick

    Was hoping that was the case, any idea how much a new dip stick is?
