Important! : Another handbrake light issue

   i have had this light on since i bought the car and its starting to annoy me.
   i have a 2000 vtr mk 2
   recently put new brakes on all round (pads,disks and handbrake cables) and brake fluids brand new topped up.
   also replaced the sensor under the handbrake in the carpet gap and still nothing
   any help would be great

   maybe be something wrong elsewhere with the wiring. maybe a problem with the clocks. or the brake fluid sensor

   ive got new clocks to put in as rev counter dont work so if that is case then great
