i have an unlocked ecu on a 52 saxo desire 5 door and the immobiliser light continually flashes, other than ripping out the dashboard cutting wires, how can i stop it flashing? I know i can unplug the immobiliser whilst the engine is running but how would i do this? I think the immobiliser is in the passenger glovebox somewhere so what do i look for? thanks

thought you had to unplug immobiliser before putting new ecu in??

otherwise, its under the glovebox, about the size of 20 fags

unlocked ecu just ignores the message coming from the immobiliser, like the checklist it does for start up so if the immobiliser is saying theres no signal from the transponder the ecu just ignores it, thats how it was explained to me anyway, and ok do i just unplug the connection then?
