Ok, bit complex, but the car in question has a clifford alarm system (400) aka a pain in the ass, but all the functions are functioning correctly, and the clifford immob is working fine ie have to press button on the fob with ignition on. the car cranks fine but the fuel pump is not priming, taking a direct 12v to the pump, that works fine.
Next: using an unlocked ecu (with the lock pin removed - so it can never be locked again) with immob box connected it flashes the immob light, with it disconnected obviously it doesn't flash but it still won't prime the fuel pump.
Any ideas? the next stage is to get an Alarm specialist out to sort it, but as its disabling the immob fine on the clifford i see no issue there.
