ive just noticed that theres thick oil in the water of my radaitor but none in the engine itself , do you think its worth dropping the water flushing it trying K seal in there or shall i just get the head gasket done first as last ?

#2Looks like headgasket, just had mine done

Go get a compression test done though first, see if it needs one doing -
#3what else could it be ? theres no loss of power its still running fine but its back pressuring a bit and theres oil in the water but no water in the oil in the engine ? any more ideas ? and has anyone used K seal before ?

#4You losing any oil or not really? tbh with you...I had oil in my rad for about 2 years before it became a problem of it overheating etc, personally would do the above sooner rather than later or its gonna cost you big bucks. Don't bother with k seal or any of that shit, it will only delay the inevitable

#5im a mechanic so can do the head gasket myselkf anyway its just ive heard so much good about K seal saying it seals small holes etc think i will drop the water and give it a try as im really to busy to do it at the moment anyway , its not losing any oil seems strange

#6well if your a mechanic shouldn't you know what to do then? not being funny or anything like.
You should really know what to do to know exactly whats happening -
#7true dat ^

#8I do know what to do, just seeing if this was a commen fault and if it was something that could be fixed without changing the head gasket , as its losing no oil and theres no water in the oil.

#9K seal is horrendous stuff, it just blocks EVERYTHING mate get it done properly, Just done mine, piece of piss

#10No mechanic worth his salt would advocate the use of K seal. Do the job properly
