Broken apex rear shock

   just had a look under the rear of my car and found my apex shock hanging down looks like the nut came loose some how and has fallen off then the end of the shock looks like its sheered off.. anyway does any1 know if I can buy just one apex shock? it came with my 50mm lowering kit so i'm a bit worried i'm not gonna get hold of one now

   put a wanted post up on the wanted section here, try ebay, but youll be lucky to find a single one :s might have to get a pair...did u buy the kit new? how old is it? is it still under warrenty?

   or you could try eurocarparts? they sell apex

   Looking at larkspeed's catalogue they do sell apex shocks single but I can't see one listed for a Saxo vts

   ^^ Does not have to for Vts mate, all saxo/106 rear shocks are the same iirc

   They wern't listed for any Saxo mate, only the xsara

   Just noticed that you have said rear, not front. I'd imagine that if they sell the fronts separate they would do the rears though.
   
   Also no idea why I wrote Saxo vts earlier too, serves me right for posting first thing in the morning lol

   Had a better look at it today and it hadn't sheered off i think what happened is the nut worked its way loose then the shock slipped off the end and it pulled the rubber out of the end where the bolt goes through.. anyway I managed to push it back togeather in the vice so i'll see how it goes when i put it back on hopefully will be ok, going to make sure its bolted extra tight this time haha.. cheers for the replies anyway
