help asap clutch

   As above. clutch pedal dropped, cable is fine. waiting for rac but they are taking a while.
   now pedal has dropped slight pressure makes the release bearing squeal. so i guess its release bearing. if i adjust the cable am i likely to be able to select gears if i am gentle on the clutch?

   you can drive without a clutch anyway to get you home, my mate had to drive a week to work and back 20miles each way every day with no clutch.
   
   And you wont really help with adjusting the cable.

   Yeah ive driven with no clutch before. its about 20 miles home lol. Looks like im pulling my box off this weekend then! Adjusting cable wont give me even slightest engagement of clutch?

   if the bearing is fubar then it won't push on the pressure plate forks correctly to disengage the friction plate. just drive home with no clutch, it'll be fine once you get into 5th
