   When mine did the exact same thing I replaced the coil pack & all is well mate.Coil packs nearing the end of their life break down when hot.

   ok, it takes a while to start when warm, but once it starts it splutters as if its over fuelling .

   Sounds like the coil pack to me mate,a faulty coil pack can damage your CAT.I got a bargain coil pack from ebay £3.00 was all I paid I think the seller didn`t realise the value of it lol.

   haha, thats a bargain, i aint got a CAT lol, i was thinking it could be the lambda sensor.

   No its not mate, thats what i don't understand, but iv changed the ICV and the throttle potentiometer, and iv changed the plugs.
