head gasket

   does anyone have a rough idea how much a head gasket on a 1.1 would cost for a garage to fix?

   depends if the head needs skimming or not, if they fit a new timing belt and water pump too. Mine was 200 without the above

   325 inc cam belt,tensioners,water pump and head skim

   cheers :-) both prices dont seem to bad considering. the car is running great, but has lots of milky goo in the radiator and starting to get it under the oil cap. i had a pressure test done 3 months ago and it came back okay. but the goo is getting worse and i do on average 20 miles driving in the car a day so its not condensation from lack of use.

   Got a few light looking splodges inside top of rocker cover when you remove oil cap. Also a bit oily below gasket area. I'm suspecting this is head gasket although was told it was done last year but no receipts so prob not.
   
   What would I be seeing in/around radiator if HG is on its way out. ?
