VTS final drive

   Hi all im ordering my atb diff in the next week, i want a 1.4 xsi box to have a better ratio box but cant find any. now a vts/gti i belive have a 3.93 or 3.94 final drive as a 1.4 xsi has a 4.29. my question is.. a 1.1 also has a 4.29 final drive can i use a 1.1 crown wheel and pinion in my vts box.

   I have an xsi crown and pinion sat in my garage
   still on the diff which is fubar but the fd is fine was stripped out in favor of a gripper item on my diff
