has any one had this sluggish turning over problem

   Starter motor on its way out maybe?

   Or a loose earth lead on the battery.

   i had this last year. was the starter motor. turned out to be knackered

   Just to double check the battery health - get a new car (parent's or something) and jump your car off their battery.
   
   If the car spins over faster you'll know it's your battery. Saves you spending money on a starter motor when you don't need to.

   i have tried putting jump leads on it still seems sluggish but is a bit faster

   all done now problem solved was starter motor put a gti one on her turns over lovely, any one got a cheap alternator for sale needs to be the one with a jack plug and a o ring pm me thanks
