I've got a Saxo Mk1 1.1i. I'm looking for some new alloys in the near future but atm I have 3 stud.. this is a pain because 3 stud are rare.. Is it worth getting a set of compomotives or changing it all to have 4 stud? what's cheaper and easier to do? or can anyone tel me of any other 3 stud alloys? I don't want to splash out too much for now, just want something a little better looking than what i have now = standard!

Theres a few sets on Ebay now.. can pick up a set of 3 stud wheels for like 50quid now, prices have dropped alot and they're becoming more common.

I just sold my set of Compomotives for 140 with new tyres.
There was a set on ebay going for 60quid last week.

As for changing to 4 stud, you'l need to change the struts, brakes..wishbones, droplinks too if you get vtr/s struts. Aswell as the rear drums, although its easier to change the complete axle.

Cheaper to find a decent set of 3stud alloys, and alot less hassle.

i thought if you got a complete strut with brakes and springs on it would be a direct fit the same as changing the whole rear axle correct me if im wrong as im thinking of doing this?
