Back washer jets working, fronts are not.

    Hi all

Since I've had my car, the bottle for the water jets had a crack in, I fixed that a while ago, but only my back jet works? The motor makes a sound and then water comes out, but with the fronts nothing happens!

    Any ideas?

Stick a pin in the jets, could have become blocked

Thanks, tried that already, but wouldn't the motor sound even if they were blocked?

Well the motor would still work coz it's sending water to the rear

Hold it down for ages on a dry surface then drive away... See if there's any leaks

Check all the pipes as well.

Sounds to me like the pumps working but the waters not getting to the jets

Well I was being an absolute twat. They were definitely blocked before, so I have probably unblocked them now, but I had forget how to actually use them. Haha.

Yeah exactly what I did. I guess it's because that's how the rear jet operates (in a way). They seem to spray wildly though! People on the pavement will get wet

hahah fail, saying that tho we had a woman come in at work stating that since we serviced it the front washers weren't working and we couldn't have checked them

she were pulling the headlight switch (was a corsa) honestly some people shouldn't be on the road

tbf though thats an easy mistake if your not used to the car. many times i was caught out when going between the saxo to the works L200. used to put the wipers on by accident trying to flash the headlights to people to let them out of junctions etc

    Had a good spray earlier.
