saxo lights problem

   hi i have got a little problem with my saxo brake light/lights can anybody help please?
   the brake lights are constantly on,also when lights are off when the brake pedal is pressed the side lights and dash lights come on(even with key out of igniton).also sounds like fuel pump is priming up (as if the ignition key has been turned)
   has anyone got any ideas?

   Either you have a bad earth(circuit board)bulb holders on the brake lights or an outside chance of your brake pedal switch being faulty mate.

   If they're aftermarket lights they might be wired up wrong.

   yes they are after market i have good angels on the front and lexus on rear,i will check all the earths tommorrow chers for quick responce both of you(y)

   o when i say side lights i mean both rear and fronts lol

   Did you wire the lexarse lights(say it softly on here)or did they come with the car mate?

   I've seen someone with lexarse lights and his brakes were the indicators, brakes the reverse lol

   all the lights come with car. i can also type in the code for immboliser etc when brake pedal pressed with out the key in ignition!

    Bulb in upside down. The twin filaments create a short circuit through one of the earth points when theyre not in right. Did it in mine, had dash lightz as brake light etc etc etc

    problem solved took the rear lights apart and bottom of brake light where terminals are was cracked somehow! and was shorting out.cheers for advice everyone
