Saxo ECU conversion

  1. #1
    Hello everybody.

Like the title says I've been doing a conversion on a VTS saxo from a MK2 3 plug ECU to a MK1 single plug ECU.

First i have change the loom on the engine to the mk1 loom and make the conversion on the multiplug.
The wires were all well connected and the car didn't start.
The ECU wasn't giving signal for the injectors to open and for the coil.

Now I have changed the car entire loom to the MK1 loom and put the MK1multiplug again and the car is the same.
Won't start and is not giving any signal for the injectors to open and for the coil.

The ECU is unlocked so no need for the imobiliser.

I have try the ECU, the engine relay and the cranksahft sensor in another saxo and starts fine.

Any ideia what might be wrong???

is the black immobiliser box disconnected and have you checked the earth points around gearbox and chassis

Is there a key sign on the dash when you try to start it?
  7. #7
The ECU is unlocked so the imobilizer box is disconneted and the earth points are all fine and connected.

what engine was in the saxo previous before the 16v lump? id say fuel pressure ither pump weak or needs a return plumbed in.
