Important! : noise from drivers o/s when accelerating off to left?

   hey all i have a problem with my beloved vts its a 2001 or 02 model, i have noticed a small problem from a while back i was getting a kind of rubbing noise as i was accelerating off to the left at first it would only do it when moving fast,,, now however over the last couple of months it has become worse now it does this at crawling speed but only when turning off to the left, it sounds as its coming from the front drivers side, the car also has 17 inch daft alloys..... hope this helps..... thanks

   Sounds like it could be your driveshaft intermediate bearing, but with the size of the wheels its worth checking its not just those rubbing somewhere

   thanks mate how would i check intermediate bearing and where is it ?
