Oil leak.. Again.

    Wasup people i made a thread the other week about my 16v leaking oil turn's out filter worked it's way loose, anyway now it's come back again it's pissing out it's running all down the sump and loom running off on the floor i been home 5 mins and there a big patch. Fooking thing is getting on my tit's now.. Any idea's?

    take the filter off, undo the 27mm bolt holding the oil cooler on and change the seal between the cooler and the block, its the same as an oil filter seal, refit the bolt, refit the filter and check again, had this trouble with devilsadvocates engine when we changed it

    Whats the seal like on the filter and are the faces flat/not scored on the both the filter and housing? Obviously I trust you used fresh oil on the seal of the new filter. Id be also inclined to check the threads that go into the filter

    Ok thanks people, i need it done this weekend and have no gasket's is there anyway i could block the oil cooler off? Me and old man just had a look and he sure it's oil cooler aswell and gandi yes i used new oil and filter when i gave it a service.

    pick a seal out of an old oil filter lol, usually the one between the cooler and block has gone flat, not ideal but gets you out of the shite
