Coolant temperature sensor replacement

   I have just bought a new sensor & I am struggling to release the plug that connects to the Coolant temperature sensor. Can anyone help me?

   I take it you know how the clips work? Don't get offened, it's just your a newbie...
   
   worst comes to worst then get a new socket from the scrappy, cut your old one off and crimp the replacement on. But that's a billy-bodge-it approach...

   what kind of plug is it? if its the square type with the little metal clip around it then u can either pull the metal clip off with a screwdriver and pull the plug off or press the metal clip inwards and pull, i find it easier to just pull the metal clip off. If its the other type of plug then you just pull the flap away from the plug and pull up
