Overfuelling

   Black soot on spark plugs. Heavy smell of petrol when engine revved. Poor fuel consumption.
   
   I'm de-catted with induction kit.
   
   Lambda is 10,000 miles/2 years old. No fault codes. Could it be lambda still?

   take it off and hit it with the wire brush. also your tappets could affect fuel economy

   May sound simple but run some of that tank cleaner halfords jobby through it, have done this to a mates car and it made the car run a lot better.
