cold air feed to standard airbox

    hi,
been reading the threads and come across the idea of running a cold air feed to standard air box with uprated panel instead of getting induction kit.

i can't afford a bmc or green enclosed and open induction is crap.

if i used an on the market air intake or samco hose would it work? and weres the best place to position it, preferably lower down were the denser air is.

    cheers

not to low done as it might get water in and water + air intake = nasty

hmm never thought about that b4...

technically this would be better than an inducton kit as its enclosed with a good cold air feed, and be cheaper than an enclosed induction kit.

i'm with you on that one. There is no way in hell an open induction provides any real performance enhancement with all that hot air swirling around (even with a cold feed pipe).

Just out of interest what is wrong with the saxo orignal feedpipe seeing as though you're opting for a panel filter?

well i was wondering the same thing actually lol just a read a thread on here, were someone said that standard box with panel is great but the air flow should be improved, i thought id just see what ppl thought. i guess an air intake pipe might have a larger diameter than the standard intake?!
you think that could be the case.
