Probs a daft question - engine/coolant

I'm pretty sure that it will be ok but a few people have sowed a seed into my brain and it's made me unsure now haha.

Basically I'm doing the headgasket on my VTR however I won't get it all done in a day as I never have a whole day spare. The question is if I drain the coolant and remove the radiator will the car be ok to stand on the drive for a few weeks/month even if the weather gets very cold again? Obviously all holes will be blocked etc but I just want to ensure the engine won't freeze up.

    Cheers

just take the lower hose off the radiator and drain it all out. should be fine. take your battery out or wrap it up as they go to shite if the freezing cold gets at them

    as above

    It'll be fine dude

Will be fine. The only time you'd have a problem is leaving it filled with water and no/ not enough antifreeze.

As above, if your leaving it, flush the matrix back and forth with a garden hose to get all the sludge out as if it dries it can block and cause problems circulating when you fit it all up again

It'll be fine if you get all or most of the water out, take the stat out and stick a hose up there(giggidy) to flush all the crap out while it's still wet.
