#2Yes mate.
-
#3haha well mine has gone from 300 to 2800 in half a year. thort it was soposed to count down
-
#4it is supposed to count down, it means you've gone past the point when you should service it
-
#5right ok, is there any way of checking when the last one was now then???
-
#6Its not solid to when it was done, alot of people dont reset them. I reset mine like once.
-
#7should the car have a sevice every 6months or a year??
-
#8depends on how many miles you do? i have mine done every 6months
-
#9i do mine every 6 months and only do max 4 k a year lol
-
#10It very much depends on how many miles you do, and how the miles are racked up.
Constant town driving will be worse for the car than constant Motorway @ 60-70mph.
That said, I advise at the very least an Oil and Filter change at 4k or every 9 months (whichever comes first).
Air Filter Annualy.
Spark Plugs every 12,000 miles.
Fuel Filter every 30,000 miles (unless you frequently run the tank dry then change the filter more frequently).
Just my two'penneth worth! -
#11Forgot to add Coolant complete Flush and Renewal every 2 years.
Brake Fluid every 4 years. -
#12So how do you reset it when you have done the service??
-
#13I always have to read the manual to reset it!
If the number on your dash is flashing when you switch the ignition on, that shows how many miles past the service interval you've gone. This number will go up as you drive.
If the number doesn't flash, this is a countdown to when the service is due.
Also, when you are resetting the service spanner, you can select how many miles you want to drive before the spanner appears again (think 10,000 is the maximum) -
#14Sure its hold the button on the right of the clocks.. turn ignition on.. then a countdown appears, hold it until it's counted down.. and click again.
