Powerflex lower engine mount vibration

  1. #1
Yo people bascally changed my standard lower mount for the powerflex today but getting some horrible vibration as though it where baker bm solid mounts etc, just wondering if there are any general misshapps or mistakes that could have been made to cause this as this was on my brothers car and did not vibrate like this.

    Thanks.

Got one on mine and it does vibrate quite a bit sometimes, i think it depends how good your other mounts are aswell, i heard if the other mounts are uprated aswell then you get less vibration apparently.. but also depends how smooth your engine is running too, i used to get bad vibrations when i had a bad idle seems better now the idle is smoother

Mine vibrates from cold start up and when pulling away, but dies off once moving

I find what exhaust mani you have makes a pretty big difference - if it bolts to the gearbox like the standard jobbie, the vibrations are hardly noticeable imo.

    Stiffer mounts = more vibration.

mine vibrates mostly when pulling off, when at a stand still its fine. I hated it for a start because of the vibrations but i am used to it now and only really notice the vibrations when some one points it out
