   been quoted 70 quid for a head for my 1.1i desire seams abit rich altho they did say they normaly just sell the whole engine for 120 been a while since ive been to a scrapyard lol

   [SIZE="3"][B]second thoughts ive bought a head set so im going to refurb the head that was on theres no damage other than all the outlet valves were bent so gonna replace all 8 grind them in and they should seat ok clean block and head while i have it apart then back together what an easy car the saxo is to work on once uve disconected all the sensers its a doddle everything is so easy to get to only scraped me knuckles once lolE]

   Might as well fit a larger engine? 8vs of any size can be had from £50-150 quid. Removing the head and fitting to yours is going to cost you a reface and new gasket/bolts so factor in an extra £70-80

   my mate owns a garage were he duz heads rebores ect and u get gaskit head bolts and everything in the kit ive bought so head will be skimmed free of charge the kit was 93 quid so not bad i dont think ,,,

    exactly right mate im gonna put a kit on car and all the rest but i like the idea of not guzzlking fuel and cheap insurence a 1.1i is big enough for what i want im 42 was abit of a boy racer years ago lolol but ive slowed down alot now lol thanks for the comments tho ,,,,
