VT Kitting a 1.1 saxo

  1. #1
Got a vt kit today from the local scrappy to put on my 1.1 saxo. Needs to be painted black to match my car but not bad for £60.

Also got a peco backbox for £10 aswell

No offence but it looks like you've taken those top pics looking through a coke can or something.

Should look smart once it's painted up though, I had a Peco backbox a while back and it sounded pretty good tbh.

It's my new fish eye lens, I was playing around with it on my camera earlier.

Looking good mate, I tried to VT kit my flat arch, was a painless chore in my opinion. Would like to see when finished

Please tell me you`re cutting the rear arches to fit the kit properly?Go for it mate & get some pics up when you`ve fitted it.

Yes, the rear arches are going to be cut away sometime in the next week when I get time.

looks like you've taken the picture through a polo
should look miles better with a vt kit though. That bonnet looks a bit wank though

It looks better in person but I'll probably get rid of it when everything is painted because it won't look right..

It's your money but I wouldn't waste my time personally, only a matter of time before a propper VT pulls up beside you and you feel worthless

Still hasn't put his wheels the right way round, done the whole car including now a VT kit, except the very basic thing that keeps you safely on the road. My palm just made contact with my face (again)

Put front bumper on today with the fog light holes covered up.

Cut the rear arches today and fitted one side of the vt kit, also did some more work on the front bumper, cut the vertical slats out of the front bumper and filled the fogs up a little more.

    Quick picture of my backbox

Tbh i`d leave the vt kit red,it would be a nice contrast between the black.

Fitted most of the vt kit now, just the front wheel arches left to do.

Also almost finished the filling on the front bumper now.

Test fitted the new lights the other day aswell.
