immobiliser light flashing

   the light flashes, but as ive got unlocked ecu it annoys the helll out of me. how do i stop the light flashing without taking the steering wheel/instrument binacle off? cheers

   bhehind the dash mate ther was a single earth that cintrolled my ekey light, i fount this out when i stripped dash out thincking it was the problem lol. its right up top behind centre console 2 green n brown wires undo that and see if it flickers and that will do the job, it didnt knock any other lights out on my dashboard so might just do the trick, think it was 8mm so just get ratchet spanned on gew :d good luck i still havent sorted mine proply iv just upgraded the live wire to the alternator and wired it up nicely now.

   You left the immoboliser plugged in which is found under the glove box, you locked it mate.

   yh thats true, when i disconnected my immobilser box the light stopped flashing anyway.

   But if you tryed to start it and it flashed then you unplugged it, its to late its locked.

   it still starts and runs and everything, the immobiliser light just flashes. Got a special standalone ecu or something, 'plug and play' as they say so it cant have been locked. So could i just get the car running then just disconnect the immobiliser altogether?

   yh think so mate, thats what iv seen on a couple of threads i have not tried it, but if ur ecu is unblocked then yh, will bypass immobiliser

    as above.. find and remove the imobiliser box under the dash
