engine noisey

   as above engine is getting noisier by the day, it just sounds like a diesel, like a tapping noise, i thought it could be manifold, but doesn't seem to have a blow< ().. the rubber gasket thing around the rocker cover has a few cracks in it, but could this cause such a diesel tractor noise?

   fuller than a pastie, happened when i fitted new exhaust under the car, cat, mid, backbox, could this have caused it chief?

   Lol chaffe? If its running like a tractor after you done the exhaust i would check the all the pipe connetions / gaskets. Does sound like manifold, maybe worth whipping off, inspection and refit with lots of exhauat paste.

   I had the same problem, it was the tappets that had come out of ajustment due to low oil levels, if it is this you want to sort it soon as my engine ended up as a right off
