mot fail or not ???

    my front shocker is burst and not working atall ?

    been told its an idvisory ??

    any ideas

    I've failed in the past for a leak on absorber so I'd say it's a faik

    a "light misting" is an advisory, anything more is a fail.

    if its failed to that extent have you not noticed the car handling being poor? its a fail, major leak from a damper. aside from which, even if it was only advised it needs doing as it affects handling,braking distance amongst other things.

    just a friend he had same problem and his passed

    no havent noticed the handling tbh .... just a knocking noise comming from the car when i drive it.

    When you pull the springs up and down you can see movement on the top strut bearing

    Sometimes testers get complacent, my Mrs 206 went through a test with a leaking front damper, should have failed, although it did fail on both drop link rubbers split, its only when replacing those I spotted the dampers leaking. Must get round to sorting them next.
