tick over problem

   Hi guys i just converted my mk2 saxo vtr with the 16v engine, i stupidley decided to drop a mk1 engine in so had serious wiring issues (1 pin into 3 pin ecu) anyway iv finally got it wired and everythings working, lubed the car up and topped water levels and fitted new throttle cable, apon firing up the engine seems to rev on tick over, at 3000rpm? Its defo not the throttle cable coz i disconnected it, what do people think?

   could be your icv it did it with mine i took it on turned ignition on and it freed itself try that mate worked for me clean it while you have it out aswell ..
