Brake Pedal Squeak

   Car Saxo 1.1 Forte 2000
   
   When stationary if I push on the brake pedal I hear a squeak noise weird to explain like a clang also. The brakes are fine stop fine etc just cant understand why it makes this noise.

   any corrosion/damage on the brake servo?

   Dont know mate ill add this to the checklist for tomorrow too dark to check now.

   look under the footwell off the drivers side, you'll see where the brake pedal pivits on a shaft, give that a spray with some lubricant, i.e spray grease/WD-40, and give it a few pumps, see if that cures it, as i had same problem.. sprayed it and it dissapeared!
