#2A)whats stupid about putting a mk1 S engine into a mk2 vtr, i've done it dozens of times, get the correct loom and its all plug and play, and B)in answer to your question, the problem is more then likely the ICV rather then a conversion problem

#3Should of just bought a proper vts......
-
#4I'm 20 with 6points a vts wasn't good for insurance lol
-
#5and declaring a vts engine conversion wont?
my guess not declaring -
#6Converting then selling at a profit
-
#7If you're just selling as a profit then why would you mention that your insurance would be too high?

But as Mandyslover said, most likely ICV or sticking throttle cable etc? mine used to do this at one point so could also try unplugging the battery for half hour or so then trying again. -
#9Thats not nice, I'm not the one going to be driving it, as soon as its running it will be sold, and fyi my 6points wernt for being a typical knob driver, was for 2 bold tyres, and to be honest i think 90% of people that own a saxo vtr or vts, don't own them for there comfort, refinement, safety or practicality? They buy them cos they are cheap, easy to kit out, and cos they are fast and have nippy handling. Basically 90% of saxo drivers are wannabe racers

#10And your insurance company know how low your car is eh? Your more at risk causeing a crash then he is.
